Start with the notice, not the word “banned”

An unavailable profile does not by itself explain what happened. The account may be banned, compromised, renamed, or affected by a login problem. A drop in views is a separate visibility question. Your exact notice, profile URL, and last successful access date help identify the right scope before any recovery work is agreed.

Some bans can be appealed through TikTok's available review process, but an appeal does not guarantee reversal. The notice, account history, ownership evidence, and platform decision determine the available options.

02What if someone changed my TikTok username?

Provide the old and current profile identifiers if known, along with the last trusted access date and relevant security notices. Do not send login secrets.

03How long does TikTok account recovery take?

There is no fixed restoration time. The scope can include evidence preparation and follow-up, but TikTok controls response times and the outcome.

04Is low reach the same as a banned account?

No. A visibility or recommendation concern requires a different assessment from account-access recovery. Share any account-status notice and explain whether you can still log in.

05Can you remove someone else's TikTok account?
